I'm trying something new today and broadcasting for twelve hours straight, starting at approximately 6:30 am Pacific time. That means today's broadcast will wrap up at around 6:30 pm, so hopefully lots of people will get a chance to tune in at some point.
For those of you who've been listening before, I'll be repeating two three-hour sets I've played previously until noon, and then you'll be getting six hours of music I've never played before.
If everything goes well, that means I'll be broadcasting my special Halloween set for 24 hours consecutively on Tuesday. More on that later.
John, I will get a chance to listen today. Keep up the good work!

Thanks, Kurt.
ReplyDeleteYou just missed the Big Country. Should I play it again for you? ;-)
Hi John:
ReplyDeleteI'm listening to the Musik.
-Fred
Thanks for tuning in Manfred. I hope you like it.
ReplyDeleteManfred: I noticed on my server logs that you were having some buffering problems. What kind of internet connection do you have? You'll need broadband to tune in effectively. And are you downloading a lot of other stuff at the same time? Maybe one of the kids on their computer? I know that other listeners have been tuning in for a many hours without any similar problems.
ReplyDeleteHey, John
ReplyDeleteGotta go to the folks' for dinner, or I'd hang in longer (trying to match Kurt... LOL)
Good sound, streamed for over 4 hours with no glitches.
Any playlist floating around out there? I probably wouldn't be able to figure out what was when but it might help.

ReplyDeleteI'm glad you enjoyed it enough to want to stick around for four hours. A great compliment, indeed. But Kurt can't seem to get enough so you've got some catching up to do.
As for the playlist, I haven't figured out a way to get an automatically updating one on the blog, so that may have to wait until the official site is launched, assuming I can figure out how to make it work then. I know very little about web design and bupkus about php scripts, but I'm slowly learning. In the meantime, I could email you the playlist directly after the show.
I hope you can tune in on Halloween.
