Halloween Broadcast Under Way

Ooh, very scary!

Yes kids, I started the broadcast at shortly before midnight PST. I came up with a total of fours hours worth of Halloween music, so I'll be repeating the show a total of six times today and shutting down at midnight PST, assuming that there isn't a meltdown somewhere along the line.

If you're tuning in from this site, please remember to not use the link marked "backup server" unless the first server goes down. That backup server only holds ten people and doesn't get listed on Shoutcast, so more people tuning in on the first server means Shoutcast browsers are more likely to discover my station.

Once again, thanks to everyone who tunes in. And if you decide to make a donation or purchase something through one of my Amazon links, please send me a message to let me know. No one's done either of those things yet (ahem!) so I have no proof that they actually work.

And if you're tuning in for the first time, check out the broadcast schedule and bookmark this site or subscribe to the RSS feed for updates on this ever-growing eclectic online radio station.

  1. I was with you there for a while, caught the end of Bela Lugosi's Dead and after a few, decided I needed some mellow before coffee. ;-) SCOTS was cool...

I'll check back in this afternoon.

  2. sfw: You know where to go for the musical equivalent of some herbal tea and a hot bath. ;-) There'll be a fresh pot waiting for you here.

Today's Halloween show is definitely louder than the average day on Dynamic Range Radio. The Halloween theme lead to a larger than usual dose of bands like Van Halen, Iron Maiden, and Judas Priest, but I still managed to squeeze in some soothing stuff from the Cowboy Junkies, Daniel Lanois, The Doors, and a Tragically Hip song you may be familiar with.

Thanks for tuning in so early in the am. Hope to see you on the server logs later.
