Ring In The New Year With Big Country

Recorded live on New Years Eve in 1983 in front of a rabid Glasgow crowd, here's Big Country performing their signature hit, then finishing off the night with Auld Lang Syne.



There was a point in this show when the band stopped mid-song to count down to midnight then gave the stage to a traditional Scottish pipe band, marking the one and only time a bagpipe appeared on a Big Country recording.

UPDATE: Here's what an idiot I am: I had completely forgotten that this concert has been released on DVD. You'd think the fact that I own the DVD would have triggered my memory, but apparently not. There are a few copies left at Amazon if you prefer to get the full concert experience.
