New Music Added: Bauhaus, Black Mountain, Elbow, The Mae Shi, We Are Scientists

Bauhaus are back after a long absence with a new album, Go Away White. I don't normally expect much from bands who reunite, but Bauhaus' new record has some real gems, including Endless Summer Of The Damned which I put into heavy rotation, starting this past week.

Black Mountain are a new band from Vancouver who, like Wolfmother, are clearly stuck in the 70s, yet somehow make music that sounds fresh. Their new album, the ironically titled In The Future, has more of a prog rock influence than Wolfmother, but I still think the two bands would make a killer double bill in concert. Black Mountain's The Tyrant is my favourite track on the album so far, so listen for it in heavy rotation in upcoming weeks.

Also new to heavy rotation:

Elbow - Grounds For Divorce
The Mae Shi - Run To Your Grave
The Mae Shi - Lamb And The Lion
We Are Scientists - After Hours
